Or, you could keep your phone liberated, free of bloatware, and customized the way you want, unlock the bootloader, root, and disable the everspying Android Pay. That's the way I like it. For affinity cards, I use Keyring. I'm just not about to whip out my cell phone to pay for things. (And I don't play PoGo, so I don't care about SafetyNet checks).
