Nuance Power PDF 2 review - PC Advisor. If I had to choose the most valuable document software on my computer that wasn't a document creator like Word or WordPerfect, it would be Power PDF 2. This software is easier to use than Acrobat, less than half as expensive, and does everything a lawyer needs to do with any document. In a world where efiling PDF documents has become the de facto standard, it is the only document management system you need. It does much more; but, I use it every single day to organize, store and create pdf files for filing and management. I use it to digitally sign documents for filing with Courts, conversion from any format to any other format, and much more. If you aren't willing to spend around a hundred bucks on software to make your law practice much more efficient and capable, you shouldn't be practicing law. I fully agree that this is excellent software and a tremendous value. I have used it for over a year now and I am very impressed. So far, I have only found it lacking one feature, and that is the ability to import and use exhibit stamps. Otherwise, it is flawless.
