Execupundit.com: Ducks Day. Michael Wade has a gift for metaphor. Today's contribution is comparing nibbling ducks to the trivial items that tend to populate out days, and crowd out the essential stuff. He advocates assigning a day to trivial tasks to get them out of the way. I have assigned a new acronym to the process. I call it WTD. I leave it to you to figure it out. My days are filled with ducks, and I tend to deal with them in spurts. Then, I have time to deal with other things, like staring at the computer screen doing nothing. I need a day for the files on my desk that gather dust because I don't feel like picking them up.
