Today's contribution is comparing nibbling ducks to the trivial items that tend to populate out days, and crowd out the essential stuff. He advocates assigning a day to trivial tasks to get them out of the way. I have assigned a new acronym to the process. I call it WTD. I leave it to you to figure it out. My days are filled with ducks, and I tend to deal with them in spurts. Then, I have time to deal with other things, like staring at the computer screen doing nothing. I need a day for the files on my desk that gather dust because I don't feel like picking them up.

How to Declutter Search in Windows 10 With One Quick Setting. One of my annoyances with Windows 10 is that the default search index doesn't include the C drive, which is where I store all my files and documents. So, I always have to click "Search other Places", and highlight the C drive and reenter the search terms to find a document. However, this tip allows me to change the default search to the C drive. Windows 10 can only search files it indexes, so you have to index the C drive and tell Windows 10 to search it first. Now, when I hit the Start button, and enter a search term, Windows finds all my files on the C drive. Eureka.

Google News Redesign Is Clean And Comfortable

Google News gets a fresh new look and more features | AndroidAuthority. The first page I visit every morning is Google News. If you want a fast, quick picture of everything going on in the world, with several options for takes on every story, it is the place to be. I was surprised and startled by the redesign at first. I was used to the line item design that was free of boxes and cards. But, I am growing used to the cleaner interface, and the organization allows targeted viewing of specific topics. I also like that Google's algorithms are pretty neutral, combining all viewpoints about a news item in one place. This gives a pretty rounded picture of events.
