LG's mobile unit loses $117 Million in Q2 2017, blames it on poor LG G6 sales. What did you expect, LG? The best features of the LG G5, which is now my daily driver, are the perfectly sized 5.3 inch screen that fits my hand and my pocket, and the removable battery, due to the modular construction. So, what do you do with the G6? You make the battery non-removable, and you increase the screen size to 5.7 inches, making the phone more unwieldy to use in one hand. Duh. The specs, while better than the G5 aren't earth shattering enough to justify a $600 price tag; which, while cheaper than other flagships, isn't chump change; especially since a G5 can now be had for $250. You could have kept the removable battery without staying with the failed modular concept. You could have stayed with a smaller screen, or, at least, made it an option. I will keep my G5, thank you very much.
