Start10 : Software from Stardock.I never could get used to the Windows 10 (and Windows 8) tile based interface. I was used to a menu based drop down choice list to access programs and files. Just click the Start button, and all your apps are visible in a hierarchical list. So, I paid Five bucks for a little program called Start 8, and haven't looked back. Start10 continues the journey, giving a Windows 7 like interface to Windows 10. Don't like tiles? You can get this little program for under Five bucks, and never look back.
I followed this great advice from you a few years ago. Many thanks for a great tip!

. Classic Shell also works on Win10. It is free. Maybe not quite so "pretty". Available at www.ninite.com virus & junkware free.
