The end of each year usually has us going back over the previous year, and looking for lists of the best, and the worst, and the in between. 2017 was a year for very expensive Smartphones, as they reached the $1,000 plateau. The two best phones were also the most expensive, the Galaxy Note 8 and the iPhone X. But, you get a lot for that thousand dollars, as I discovered when I inherited SWMBO's Note 8. I love the phone, and it is top of the line by every measure. There are some really great phones at the bottom of the price spectrum as well, however. Check out this list and choose for yourself.
