Yes I did. I was planning to upgrade my 2 year old Samsung Notebook 9 Spin; but, I wasn't actively looking. At least, I wasn't looking until I visited the Microsoft store at International Mall in Tampa yesterday. I had demoed the Mixed Reality headsets on the floor of the store, and was musing out loud to the bright, knowledgeable young staffer, Maria. She almost knows more about computers and tech than the Futurelawyer, and I have a lot more years of practice. But, I digress. I mentioned to her that I wished I could find an ultrabook with a graphics chip that could run the higher end VR and Augemented Reality headsets that are coming out. I didn't want to buy a desktop just for VR, and the chip on my current ultralight 2 in 1 wasn't up to the task. She advised that, since October, the new Surface Books had powerful graphics chips that could run the new VR. I was hooked. When I saw the new 13.3 inch Surface Book 2, with a Core I7, 256 GB SSD, and 8 GB of RAM, I had to have it. With a Military discount, and the Microsoft store price, it comes in at a pricey $2,000. But, what a beautiful computer. It only weighs 4 pounds, which is only a pound over the Spin. The screen detaches to make a beautiful 13.5 inch tablet. The screen reverses to lay on top of the keyboard. The graphics chip makes for a beautiful screen. And, the whole package is blazing fast. I will write more as I install software, and carry it around. But, Microsoft has made a worthy competitor to the other ultralights out there. It isn't perfect, as this video review indicates; but, it will do for a couple of years for me.
