I bought a Windows CE device in late 1998. It was nothing special, or memorable apparently.

I was much happier with the Palm Pilot I bought a year later. It did make life and the practice of law easier. Never went for the modem - it seemed cumbersome with limited functionality.

My first was a Palm IIIc. I could sync it with my Amicus Attorney. I was always terrible at keeping up with a paper day planner. The IIIc was replaced with a Treo running Palm OS. I still miss Graffiti for note taking.
