My favorite thin, light tablet computer, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, is being updated to the latest version of Android. I carry this tablet whenever I travel, as it is a very light addition to my bag, and contains its own LTE chip for Internet everywhere. In addition to Gmail, web browsing, Facebook, and other social media, it is a book reader, and the tablet contains hundreds of books I have downloaded from the web. I take to breakfast on the weekends to read the weekend newspapers without damagin a single tree. I carry it to baseball games, and follow the pitches and stats in real time. An internet enabled tablet. Don't leave home without it.

When you work in BigLaw, it can be a benefit to have hundreds of lawyers and staff to get help from. However, if you as much of a jerk as this guy, hitting Reply-All can be a disadvantage. And, using a blast email to complain about a departing employee's blast email makes one wonder whether this guy got up in the morning with the intent of being a jerk. Arrogance usually leads to downfall; and, it happens quickly in the Internet Age. Whatever happened to common courtesy? My mom used to say: "If you don't have something nice to say about someone, say nothing at all". Still good advice, whether you are a BigLaw partner or a solo practitioner.

T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy Note 8 gets $230 markdown | Pocketnow. The Galaxy Note 8 will probably be replaced by the Note 9 later this year. But, it is still the best smartphone on the planet, and, if you have been put off by its almost $1,000 price tag, you can now get it from T-Mobile for around $700. A bargain; and, if the leaks are true, you won't even notice much of the improvements in the Note 9, which will likely be speed and performance enhancements. I am keeping my Note 8 for a while, and I may wait until the Note 9 has reached the end of its life before I upgrade.

Nothing is perfect, of course; but, if you absolutely, positively, need to engage in confidential communications with a client or colleague or significant other, why not use all the protection you can?
