Rick, after your first encomium for the Surface Book 2, I read an older report of some undesirable outcomes when the user connected the SB2 to an external monitor (on the internet, so it must be true). The issues had to do with pixel rendering or some such, and required disconnecting, restaring, etc. Have you used your SB2 with an external monitor? If so, any issues? I'm considering a 13" SB2 to replace my Surface Pro 3.

I use mine with an external monitor every day. I detach the screen to use as a tablet occasionally. I have had none of these problems. This is the most competent, versatile computer I have ever owned. In fact, I am getting a docking station delivered today that should make it even easier to connect to peripherals.
