Execupundit.com: Clarity. Execupundit highlights a great quote today, from Alfred Souza. We all tend to focus on the problems and obstacles of our lives, and deduce that, before we can begin living, or get on with living, we need to get through the obstacles; when, in fact, the journey through, over or around them, IS living. Yesterday, while navigating a maze in a parking garage for half an hour, trying to find my Compact SUV among all the others (they really do all look alike), I was tempted to say to myself that I couldn't enjoy the rest of the day until I got through with this long, hot, hard trek. Now, looking back on the journey, I realize that it was a memorable time, and I am certainly more focused now on remembering where I park. Such is life.
"For a long, long time it seemed to me that I was about to begin real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

In a concrete parking garage, GPS is useless, Tom. How did you forget about that? :-)
