Until now, depending on where I was, I was either asking Google Assistant a question or asking Alexa to play my morning news briefing or some appropriate music. It is very cool to lie in bed trying to sleep and telling Alexa to play some relaxing oceanside sounds. But, now the Alexa app on Android, which controls Echo devices, is able to respond to Alexa commands. In effect, this means the Bluetooth enable car radio, which connects automatically to Android phones, becomes an Alexa enabled device. Two devices competing for my attention. I feel....wanted.
