Used Car Buyer's Guide: Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4. Is there anything better than a mid Nineties muscle car? The Japanese certainly hit a home run with my favorite, the Mitsubishi 3000 GT. It is infinitely more fun to drive than my other cars; and, with a brand new crate engine I put in a couple of years ago, it will go fast for another 23 years. Don't believe me. Read what the experts have to say. Even in pristine condition, the car is still eminently affordable. But, hurry. My crystal ball tells me these rare vehicles have an expensive future ahead of them. Now, I am going for a Sunday drive in mine.
