Ban the Beef? Now I Want To Eat A Great Big Steak

Ban the Beef? by Bj�rn Lomborg - Project Syndicate. I hate political correctness, and being told what I can eat and drink. I understand banning smoking in restaurants and public places; because there is science behind it. But, banning beef, and treating beef eaters like smokers is so abhorrent that I have to highlight it. When San Francisco banned sugar in soft drinks, I was apoplectic, even though I don't use refined sugar myself. This is about freedom to live and drink and eat what we like. Environmentalists who want to regulate what I eat had better be careful. They will spark a beef eating backlash. I think I will go out now and eat a big steak. Jeez.
