11 Things To Do After Installing Ubuntu 18.04 LTS 'Bionic Beaver' - OMG! Ubuntu!. Linux is the operating system ordinary people never heard of, or used. However, it is the basis for Microsoft Windows and Apple's OS. Ubuntu is a front end graphical interface designed to be used by us ordinary people; and, while you can get to a Linux command line interface, and learn the commands, most of us don't want to. The newest version of Ubuntu looks even easier to use than past versions, and I have loaded it on to my previous daily driver, the Samsung 2 in 1 ATIV. Slim and light, this little notebook computer is fast and great to use. So, I will spend part of the holiday doing these 11 things with the system. Once it is tweaked and ready, I intend to explore how much real world lawyering can be done with a Linux computer. Any lawyers out there using Linux?
