Do This...Not That

Execupundit.com: Insight. Execupundit thinks it odd that advice he has received not to do something has been more helpful than advice to do something. I don't think it odd at all. It is always wise to be careful about doing things. But, others who want to direct your actions to their preferred outcome need to mind their own business. As for people who tell me not to do things, I usually do them anyway. There is a perverse freedom in doing something another person wants to prevent you from doing. Nobody knows what is on the other side of midnight. Fate will tell me sooner or later. Until then, I get to decide how I get there.
