Older Technology is Still Geek-Worthy | ForeverGeek. It seems like we have our faces buried in our Smartphones all the time, and we do. But, are we addicted to the devices? I am of the opinion that it just seems that way, because the Smartphone does so many things that used to be done by other devices. Think about all of the functions that are now performed by that little slab of plastic you hold in your hand: telephone, fax machine, music player, television, VHS and DVD player, Personal Digital Assistant, Calculator, Voice Recorder, and more. So, are you addicted, or have you just consolidated your human functions into one device?
