The future of virtual reality in law %u2013 does VR technology have a place in the courtroom? | LinkedIn. While my Oculus Quest is the latest and greatest addition to my VR collection, it is natural to ask whether these things can be used in a law practice. As this article points out, crime scene rendering and viewing, group attendance at trials and depositions, and other law related activities could be greatly enhanced by the ability to move around and see in 360 degrees. But, the technology isn't quite there yet, as VR motion sickness, expensive head sets, and other problems still plague the VR industry. The future, however, looks bright, and you can expect to see legal uses of VR soon.
