Civil libertarians are up in arms about the tests being run with police accompanied by Boston Dynamics' robot dogs. What are they upset about? Police robots who catch criminals? It isn't about the robots, stupid. It is about the human beings who control them. Bad acts are bad acts, regardless of who or what performs them. An orderly society requires police presence. Ask yourself who you want to see most when a criminal is breaking into your house. I say that I welcome our new police robot overlords. At least, I can get a good night's sleep.

We each make food choices every day, for a variety of reasons. As I transformed from a new vegan to a new vegetarian, only one thing remained certain. No more animal, bird, or other meat or fowl. The military discount helps a lot; but, I would be paying 3 times that at Verizon, and they would be arrogant about it, to boot.
