Poll Finds Most People Would Rather Be Annihilated By Giant Tidal Wave Than Continue To Be Lectured By Climate Change Activists | The Babylon Bee. I know that 72 years of living on this planet doesn't make me wise. But, 16 years on the planet don't make a person wise or experienced either. There are some things that polls show make most people prefer being consumed by giant Alligators invading our Florida houses. One of those is Greta lecturing us on climate change. Greta, when I was your age, I was worried about something much more relatable: nuclear holocaust. Perhaps your anger is misplaced. How about lobbying for a decrease in nuclear weapons? I used to think I wanted to live forever. Climate change, and its proponents and those on the other side of the issue, have made me want to discuss other methods of mass extinction. OMG.

OK - gotta disagree with you on this one; I don't think you are truly considering the possibilities of other perspectives on the global environmental crises facing us all

No disagreement here, Carole. I merely object to brainwashing a 16 year old girl to be so angry about something about which there is no scientific certainty that she becomes single minded. Remember, we have been lectured about the end of the world for centuries by those who were certain about the future. We need to spend more time living and loving and praying in the present. Angry diatribes are, by the way, not the way to persuade. Is anyone persuaded by them? Take a look at our current political climate. The lack of reasoned, respectful, intelligent discourse is what we should be concerned about.
