This short video by a Federal Judge who was formerly a BigLaw lawyer is instructive. While made in 2009, it still applies. Sure, it would be nice to make $800,000 a year. But, is it worth the price? More of us don't think so. Even when I was working full-time, it was a struggle to bill 5 hours a day. My clients couldn't afford big bills, and I wanted to have a life. What kind of life do you want to have?
