Bosch Smartglasses. It will take a year or two; but, if fate allows you to live that long, you will finally get to see Smartglasses with a heads up display done right. Using lasers, Bosch has designed a prototype that looks like regular glasses, and puts augmented information in your field of view, overlaid on what you normally see through your glasses. I love my Bose Smartglasses, which send high end sound and google assistant information and phone calls and texts to me; but, the experience is entirely auditory. I hope that Bose engineers talk to Bosch about combining the experience and having both visual and auditory information coming at me through my glasses. I have always objected to the use of cameras in smartglasses, because it intrudes on others' privacy. But, sending information to me that only I can see and hear is an enhancement of my environment that I want very much. For the time being, I am happy with hearing the world through my glasses. In a year or two, I hope to be guided through the world by my eyeglasses.
