Bose Frames Update. The Wayfarer styled Bose Frames have become my daily glasses. I wear them from the moment I step out the front door to the time I come home. I have had only two problems with them, feature wise. First, they had no volume control, and I had to go to my phone to adjust the volume of the world class Bose speakers. Second, they aren't water resistant, so I couldn't wear them in the pool. I know, first world problems. But, hey, the tech is here, use it. (He said, smiling). Today, however, my volume problem went away. I can't believe it never occurred to me to update the glasses firmware before now; but, I plead Coronavirus mind confusion. We have had more serious problems on our minds, no? But, in any event, after a ten minute download to the glasses, I am now listening to the soundtrack from my favorite movie "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly", and, when the lovely Diane brings me a cup of coffee (she is an Angel), I only have to press the little gold button and turn my head left to turn down the volume. I find myself doing it just to be amazed at the tech. Find something today to be joyous about. Your ears may not work tomorrow.
I actually wear my Bose frames all the time, too. So great for music and phone calls. I got prescription lenses from GlassesUSA for them. And I forgot to bring my sunglasses with on a trip to Mexico back in January, so I very carefully wore them into the pool, being careful not to allow them to go under water, and everything worked out fine.
