Execupundit links to this Sopranos trailer today, which is interesting, since he is a lawyer/consultant. All lawyers are consultants, and are approached by people with problems. Sometimes, it is hard not to be soiled by particularly difficult problems. Tony Soprano makes bad choices; but, he is still a sometimes effective consultant. Do clients have any responsibility?

One correction: I have a J.D. but I'm not a member of the bar and have never practiced law. I got hooked on management while serving as a dashing young Army officer assigned to the General Staff with the Army Criminal Investigation Command.
And unlike Tony Soprano, I've never been a risk management consultant.
