With some very notable exceptions (Think President of the U.S.), it is not a good idea to delegate the authority to create tweets on behalf of the organization, unless they are strictly moderated. If you are a BigLaw partner, this can be a very bad idea, as well as facially dishonest. The same goes for any lawyer who hires someone to create blog posts, or tweets, or any social media content. You need to be authentic, whatever that says about you. A genuine conversation with real people is what the Internet does best. At least, when I blog or tweet, the consequences are mine alone.
