The Open Office Is Dead. Open office. Closed office. Cubicle office. Work at home. So many choices. So many design consultants and architects. My office design is simple. A 1940's house, converted to an office. The old living room is the waiting room. The front bedroom is my office. The old garage is the library/conference room. The kitchen is still a kitchen. The bathroom is still a bathroom. I designed it in about 20 minutes. It has worked fine for just under 40 years. Law practice is not well suited to the open office concept, however. Too many secrets.
