I am not one to toot my own horn. Well, okay, yes I am. But, I was preaching remote lawyering long before natural disasters like hurricanes, and Pandemics, made it popular. I admit, I did it because I wanted to show it could be done, and because I have never liked being chained to a desk and a particular location 24-7. But, for example, years before the cloud, I was using telephone dial up to connect remotely to computers at the office. When the cloud became more available, I got rid of the office server computer and carried my computer with me. Here is a post from 2010. There was still a lot of skepticism about cloud computing at the time. So, it is still early in the Internet revolution. If we are alive ten years from now, Internet connections will be part of what we wear every day. We already are connecting to each other and the cloud with our Smartwatches, Smartglasses, and Smartphones. The graphic comes from Rocketmatter, which has led the way in cloud law practice management for a while now.
