As a solo, I don't have a boss who is an idiot. I don't have a boss who can punish me if I get my work done in less time than a colleague. I don't have a boss who can tell me what I can do, and what I can't. Are you directing your law practice; or, are you being directed by someone else? Solo practice is, ultimately, about freedom, and is well worth any financial sacrifice.
