Okay, sometimes it is beneficial to get a second or third opinion on legal work product. But, I have found, as a solo, that I am my own best editor. I know what my intention was when I wrote something, and I always can make it better upon re-reading. It can be a pain to do a line by line edit of my work; but, it is necessary. In any event, I don't need to participate in a hierarchical system in which my work gets criticized and red lined by someone who may or may not be acting in my best interests. We all know bosses who are not good managers, and who exercise power by criticizing others. Go solo, and edit your own work.
