Early days of Law Blogging. This post by Nikki Black was moving for several reasons. As I grow older, I am much more apt to tear up at thinking about the past. My 30 some odd year history with technology and blogging and the practice of law is full of wonderful friends and influences. Nikki and all the others mentioned in the post, and many more I could name, such as Kevin O'Keefe, and others, have been in my orbit for decades, and each of them has contributed much to the impact of the Internet and technology on the practice of law. In fact, all of our work still is available in the cloud, and all it takes is a Google search. I don't believe in legacy. In a couple hundred years, nobody will know our names. But, for now, and the foreseeable future. there are a lot of young lawyer who owe a debt to the lawyers participating in this mutual admiration society. I look forward to spending some quality time with Sui Generis, and the work product of all my Internet lawyer friends.
