I suppose anyone can say the words: "I don't fear death". But, in my case, it took a lot of years of living before I really believed it. If regret about the past and worry about the future are irrational (we can't change them, can we?), then fear of death is equally irrational. We have so much more to worry about in the present. It is a full time job, living in the present. I have no time for regret, worry or fear. I might miss a sunrise, or a sunset, or an evening doing nothing with my beautiful wife, or a pleasant hour playing with some gadget or smartphone or other computer. Epicurus had it right. Whether death exists or not, we aren't going to be around to worry about it.
