#TeamWordPerfect - The World Has Turned On Its Head.

This little snippet, quoted in a recent post by fellow WordPerfect user, Judge Dillard, accurately shows my mood this morning, after spending a couple of hours yesterday formatting a Word document. Lord, save me from Microsoft Word, and let your minions populate the earth with WordPerfect goodness.

We can put a man on the moon, build supercomputers, put all the world's libraries in the palm of our hands. But we cannot get Word to stop randomly formatting and putting blank spaces in documents....

My favorite version of the Arabesque is the Tomia electronic masterpiece on the Snowflakes Are Dancing album, which is the version that Jack Horkheimer used on Star Hustler. Close your eyes and forget the world for a few minutes.

 

Happy Birthday, Claude DeBussy.

Is there a more hauntingly beautiful tune than Arabesque No. 1? I was first introduced to it by a version played as the intro to Star Hustler, a late night Miami astronomer short that played during Dr. Who reruns. Jack Horkheimer was the host, and died in 2010. I could listen to this music all the time.

Pair Galaxy Watch To New Phone Without Resetting. In a recent post about my new Galaxy Watch 6, I complained about having to reset the watch to work with a different phone. I avoided this by keeping my Galaxy Watch 5, paired to my Galaxy Fold 3, and pairing the new Watch 6 to my S21 Ultra, my daily phone driver. Now, it appears you can switch phones in a simpler process, described in this article. No more resetting everything required. It still is a pain, but less than before. For me, while my trusty Watch 5 is still with me, I have no problem using both. Happy watch pairing.
