Computers, Artificial Intelligence, lack of interest in cursive handwriting, voice control of printers and TV, and a general lack of the need of physical skills in a modern world, are just some of the reasons our kids can't get things done. Perhaps we need to revisit the age at which we teach digital skills? Anyone here remember sitting at a desk in a room patrolled by nuns with rulers, and writing on a piece of paper with a pencil or pen?
