The older we get, the more thankful we become just to get another day. I like that, once a year, we kick off the Holiday Season with my favorite Holiday. Turkey, football, and realizing what it means to be fortunate, makes us more thankful. In these times, when millions of our fellow humans live through the hell of war, and disease, and the inhumanity of some men and women, it is important to be thankful; but we must also be mindful of their plight. Accepting our lack of control over external events doesn't mean that we sit back and do nothing. Do what you can, and all that you can. Hold your family and friends close. Love all.
