Memorial Day And The Star Spangled Banner.

In 1994, at the All Star game, the Star Spangled Banner was sung by a famous singer who most wouldn't think of as having been the person most likely to sing it. But, Meat Loaf, whose voice still surprises me, did it the best I have ever heard. On this Memorial Day, on which we honor the men and women who died in service to our country, I can't think of a better thing to hear. It gave me goosebumps , and as a season ticket holder for Major League baseball, that doesn't happen often.
