Galaxy Phones Will Now Get Locked Automatically If Stolen. I am a longtime user of Samsung phones. I started with the Note 1 years ago, and am now using the latest Galaxy S24 Ultra, which, in my opinion, is the best phone on the planet. But, I also appreciate that Samsung is diligent about adding useful features, and keeping its phones up to date, and the latest one is really great. In the future, if someone takes off with your phone, as soon as you report it, the phone will lock. So, it will be useless to the thief, and you should have it backed up in the cloud. Buy a new phone, and, presto, it will be like new again. Thanks, Samsung.
