Samsung Watch 7 Versus Watch 6. Should You Upgrade? In case you just got here, I have owned many Smartwatches since the first one from Sony approximately 10 years ago. I have shelled out cash for every new Android watch, and sometimes several of them. As I am always saying, if you added up what I have spent on all of them, you would still have money left over if you purchased a luxury watch for $7,500 from a jewelry store. But, there is a limit, and I am not "upgrading" to a Watch 7 from my trusty Watch 6. It looks like I will be wearing this great watch for another year or so, or, at least until the upgrades are worth it. The so called health updates using AI are just an annoying list of new ways the watch can micromanage your wrist. But, make your own decision. I say save a hundred bucks, and buy the Watch 6. I have the even more pricey version with a phone chip. It operates away from your Smartphone, and feels more Dick Tracy like. Whatever happened to the people who trashed me 10 years ago, calling Smartwatches a "fad"?
