AR Audio Apps For Bose Frames Smartlasses. When I encouraged the use of Smartwatches a few years ago, many laughed. They were a fad and wouldn't ever develop long term. Now, when I talk about Bose Frames Smartglasses, I am hearing the same thing. I like my headphones, or I like my earbuds, or I wouldn't wear them all the time. Like Smartwatches, I have to defend their functionality. Wearable computing is here. Get over it. My Smartwatch can now text, email, receive and make phone calls, do the weather, notify me if someone is at my home or office, measure my heart rate, blood pressure, and EKG, play music, play games, and a host of other functions. Like Smartwatches, I predict that other wearables will continue to evolve. Now, Bose Frames can provide audio augmentation to many experiences. So, pay hundreds and thousands of dollars for headphone, earbuds, earphones, and other wireless audio connections to you Smartphone if you wish. For $199, plus another $150 if you have prescription lenses, you can experience all the audio world has to offer, and never again put something on your head or in your ear, other than the glasses you wear every day. I am getting older; but, convincing naysayers about transformative tech is getting old. First, it was the people who didn't believe that email and the Internet would revolutionize law practice. Then, it was those who thought mobile computing was impossible for road warriors. Then, it was those who laughed at Smartwatches and the early wearables. Are you willing to wager on the adoption of glasses that double as wearable computer based augmentation? Computers augment human function. Bringing those benefits to the source, be it sight, or hearing, or touch, is a no brainer. Get with the program, or get swallowed by it.
