Rest in Peace Savannah. I don't know how old she was when I got her in 2012. She was a rescue from a home in which her twin sister was eaten by a Coyote. The owners couldn't have her around after that. She was a one man bird, and would only tolerate me. She was beautiful and I loved her until she passed in 2021. Since I am 75, it wouldn't be fair to adopt another bird, so I am down to four in my family of parrots. Parrots, like dogs and kids, require a lifetime commitment; but, repay that commitment with a lifetime of joy. I am fortunate to have the lovely Diane to help me with their care and cleaning.
